I've been taking pictures since the 1980s, first with 35mm SLRs and compacts and then, with the arrival of mainstream digital cameras in 2000, with digital compacts, digital SLRs and hybrids.
I had my first work published in Amateur Photographer magazine in 1982 and wrote for a number of other photo magazines alongside my regular work until I went freelance, when I began specialising properly in digital photography.
My interests encompass everything from landscapes to travel and from fine art to portraiture, and I've had my work published in many different magazines. I also like to keep in touch with the local camera club scene to find out what regular photographers and readers really want to know about.
